As others have reviewed the hotel has been recently renovated so although it is an old style building it is clean, fresh and inviting. We got upgraded on check-in to a suite. Rooms are good size, clean and simple. The outstanding feature of this hotel are the staff. There are plenty of them and they are genuinely happy to help... More

They did very a very good job with the major renovation: combining the classic facade and structure with modern minimalist interior. The rooms were nicely appointed and the bathroom had nice amenities. Since I'm a fan of soft bed, although the I could sleep well I wish the bed were softer. However, my friend told me that it was the... More

The hotel was previously a government-owned hotel from the 1960's, similar to Hotel Indonesia, Jakarta. Over the years it deteriorated due to neglect, lack of innovation and sheer mismanagement. Luckly for us a new hotel management group took over and renovated it from top to bottom. They preserved the best bits of the old hotel - structure, facade, mosiacs, etc... More

I was stayed in this hotel when this hotel was managed by Inna group. I had terrible experience during my last stay there. The hotel was poorly maintained and the service was terrible. I really excited when I heard this hotel is being renovated and managed by Santika. I had high hope about this property future. Last February, I had... More

Located next to a mall this hotel is a typical local Indonesian chain in Yogyakarta. It feels like a usual business hotel since they cater many groups for meetings. For those who wants a privacy and a more elegant setting of hotel, Sheraton or Rumah Sleman would more be a good choice. Local food dominated the breakfast selections since locals... More

Given all the history and its name - I was expecting a grandeur hotel with a lot of historical memento from the royal family and from previous hotel. When I arrived, I found a hotel with very friendly atmosphere - bright and just cozy. We were there for Asia Pacific workshop - with series of meetings and training. This hotel... More
