Having previously stayed at a good 4 star hotel on our last visit, we were a little worried to have booked in somewhere that cost roughly half the price. What an eye-opener - the room was just as good, if not better. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice for everyone and far far better than in the '4... More

Stayed there for our Wedding Anniversary with our kids. Location was great, walking distance from Orchard Road, easy also to hail cabs. Rooms a little tired though, not a new Hotel obviously. Check-in staff attentive, rest of the staff not sure what they do, bell hop was good. Pool towels were few and far between, maybe pool is not the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We found the hotel very dated. Hotel seems to cater for Asian tourist. Our room included breakfast, and it had wide selection east meets west. The hotel is located thin 5 minutes walk to newton shopping mall which was good and has a MRT NEXT A skip and hop away to the... More

Hotel is in good location, not too far to walk to nearest MRT station. Room was more than adequate, and hotel had everything we needed. Check in was a little bit slow, but we got a free drinks voucher because of this. Breakfast was excellent, great variety and more than enough to fill you up until lunchtime. Restaurant was also... Having read some pretty negative comments on tripadvisor, we weren't expecting too much but in fact the Royal was okay - in fact, better than okay, it was fine. The MRT stop at Newton is a short walk away and from there it's easy to get anywhere. The breakfast was excellent. All in all, a good experience.

We book this hotel through agoda, we stayed there for 7 nights spending our holiday vacation, the front desk is very slow and seems not interested with their guest. Upon check in, we thought of their good deeds by upgrading our room from family room to suite but we found out the we were given room 501, very old room,... More

It was relatively a mid-range hotel in terms of hotel cost. The interiors need some sprucing up because it is rather loud with too much going on (gold chinese lettering, a loud fountain etc.) The rooms were OK. The lobby area had a funny smell which was probably emitting from the "Rickshaw coffee shop" where a lot of Chinese/Singaporean food... More

Located right in the heart of Singapore's business area and is only minutes away from the renowned shopping and entertainment centre of Orchard Road. Can be reached in 30 minutes from Changi Airport and comfotable walking distance from Novena MRT Station. Well, the hotel has all facilities a leisure traveler needs at a very reasonable price. The hotel caters nice... More
