We stayed here as it was one of the cheapest we could find in Singapore. We only wanted a place to sleep as we’d be out most of the day but we wished we didn’t choose this place. They offer rooms “by the hour” and you can frequently see people come in asking for a 2 hour room. No safe, no do not disturb sign and very old rooms. We wore flipflops in the shower as the floor was that gross. Location is ok, close to 7/11 and bars. 7 minute walk to Chinatown and the MRT. On the plus side, the aircon was fantastic and the bed was comfy.

My stay at Hotel 81 Cosi was both pleasant and very convenient between 3 MRT stations. Montree was helpful and friendly throughout my 3 separate stays with help in storing my luggage while I was temporarily away to changing the SIM card in my mobile phone. Surrounded by well known restaurants and a 7/11 and on the edge of Chinatown, a good home base.

We came through Singapore for a few days on our way to other countries in SE Asia and settled on the Chinatown area. Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming, we were early but they got us into a room anyway. The room was clean and fine for the price, basically what we expected. What really stood out though was the staff. They helped us with everything, especially Mr. Montree. He gave great suggestions on where to go, what ATM to use, gave us umbrellas since it was raining and much more. He really did go above and beyond, which is why I give it 5 stars. If you are expecting the Ritz, probably not your place, but you will get the 5 star treatment if he is working. Will definitely be back next time we are in Singapore. Also, sign up for their news letter for some perks it was worth it.

Room n toilet are very tiny with a lot of dust. Bed was uncomfortable. Walls are really thin and we can hear next door neighbour quarrelling and fighting till the police came. Overall it's an unpleasant 6day stay for us. Will not recommend this hotel if you're planning to stay for a few days.

首先这个酒店的位置特别方便,周围公交地铁都很近。第二房间虽小,但干净整洁有序,而且还有电梯。再就是服务人员的态度很温暖,特别是Wiliam服务热情周到,是个性价比超高的首选。 First of all, the local is very convenient. It is quite close to the metro and bus stop. Second, though the room is tiny, it's clean and well organized. Plus it has elevator. Also, the staffs are very friendly, especially William, who is super considerate. This hotel is a very good choice for those with a budget.

I originally came to hotel 81 cozy as a stepping stone on my travels but due to circumstances I had to extend my stay for many weeks. The great staff here were happy to accommodate and were great, going the extra mile wheneven I needed their help. The rooms were serviced daily, are well kept and have all the ameneties you could reasonably expect from a budget hotel (TV, wardrobe, kettle, hairdryer, umbrella etc) and they even provdided an iron and ironing board when requested. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Hotel 81 Cosy to any person looking for a budget hotel in Singapore due to its great location and extremely helpful staff (Mizzy and William were always on hand to help in any situation). The area is extremely photogenic, it has fantastic restraunts and bars and the people are really friendly. Highly Recommended

It does the job for the right price. Staff are friendly and professional. Its ideally located, nearby to the majority of key attractions. I can't fault it to be honest, even with the sky high Singapore accomodation prices

Meet our expectations of a two star hotel. Great location, clean and tidy at an affordable price point. Allowed us to check in early when we arrived. We got exactly what we expected, would stay again if staying for a short period of time.

I rate based on my expectations from the advertising material i use to select the accommodation. This hotel is both budget and basic. But it delivers exactly what it advertises. The staff are very helpful, especially the older gentleman who seems to be the cleaner. I would certainly use it again.
