Stayed at this hotel in March en route to Perth for a 1 night stopover. It was a very new hotel so new in fact the taxi driver had never heard of it, but its only about 5 - 10 mins away from the airport and much cheaper the the Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel. Its in an area called Katong... More

I stayed for one night at this hotel to have a good night sleep in between 2 flights. Its in "Katong" in between the airport and the Sinagpore CBD shopping area. I paid not event 20 Dollar for a Taxi. For me it was worth the money. There was event free wifi and water which is always very important for... More

The Santa Grand Hotel East Coast is located in the East Coast area which is not a very popular area for tourists or business travelers hence there are not many hotels in this area. it was formerly a row of colonial shop houses. Plus points - hotel is new and bed is comfortable which is very important to me -... More

Location is good, very very near to 112 Katong mall. Staffs are friendly but not very knowledgeable in the trade. We were given a room that is still under servicing and room was veri stinks. When call the reception counter, they support to check what's going on and get back to us but we received no call. The room rate... More

The hotel had just opened in early April so the staff were still sorting things out. A very comfortable clean hotel with a good dining room and "all you can eat" breakfast which catered for all tastes. Plenty of food which was delicious. Our room was a double which was quite small but comfortable and had a clean modern bathroom. The... More

The hotel is very nice and clean, also new and modern. The staff was very helpfull, and all the equipment are in best shape. The breakfast is not very good, but the price, in Singaporean standarts is good. The rooms are really small but it can not be apointted as a big problem. No MRT easy and close, but buses... More

Outside the room was noisy. I cld hear them clearly as the bang the door n chat. I was taken aback by the workers doing the gardening just outside my room window. They were directly outside as my curtain was wide open. The receptionist couldv called to warn as i hv just finish bathing and in my towel. Overall there... More

I booked a twin room for four nights. It was very well decorated. my room was on the 3rd floor and the ceiling is i floor higher so it feels rather spacious. The rooms has tv, study table, fridge, safe, air con, bath tub, free net. The staffs are very helpful. Because I stayed for 3 nights and more, they... More

We stayed one night in March 2012. Booked a Superior Double via Agoda for ~$100AUD and upon arrival was upgraded to a Superior King. Service was fine. Room was spacious, TV with cable, wifi, kettle, hairdryer, safe. Everything was clean and in working order. I was happy with everything except I'm a light sleeper and found that there was a... More

As we approaced the area by taxi from Changi Airport, our driver commented that is is an expensive area to live (suburbs). The townhouses and condos gave way to the interesting colonial look of the pre-war city. There are dozens of restaurants and shops on the street level with living quarters above - all of the buildings appear in good... More
