The best thing about the hotel is the great location near the orchard strip.  Gym and swimming pool adequate but basic. It is not a hotel you would want to spend too much in. not necessary as orchard is at your doorstep.  most rooms are surrounded by buildings so no view to speak off. Ask for a facing the pool... Dear fmkyfc, Definitely being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of it all, Orchard road, would keep you busy for much of the time. Providing such services such as the complimentary mini-bar and internet access as well as the Nesspresso machine, is all in our interest to make our guest stay with us that much more enjoyable. Certainly,... More

Finding ourselves once again in Singapore we opted to stay at the Royal Plaza - our third stay. The standards of this hotel never drop. The staff are very service focussed, friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and well serviced, with free soft drinks from the mini bar daily, as well as a coffee machine with a selection of... More

Royal Plaza has won the Top Independent Hotel in SE Asia award several times in recent years, and I agree that this level of service with a smile is very unusual. Employees here are willing and able to handle any request quickly, and fix anything. Rooms are good sized, comfortably equipped, and have effective, individually controlled AC. Comfortable beds, and... More

Carousel, its restaurant, is great place to have halal food. You can request for praying mat. Quaran is available in the drawer. Qibla direction is provided Restaurant: provide halal food. Gym is 24 hour as you can open it using your room key. The swimming pool is clean. the room is neat but I don't get a good view. Should... More

Right in the middle of orchard its a great location if you are shopping but I much prefer the Marina or CBD as a hotel location. It's clean and the service is very good However rooms, food and amenities ate very average. It's geared towards locals and local travellers as opposed to business travellers The rooms are a bit damp... More

Stayed three nights at the RP. At check-in we asked if we could negotiate a late check-out as our flight out wasn't until 8.30pm. Got it straight away for free - good start. We booked a Club Deluxe package, which included breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails in a private lounge on the 15th floor. Not cheap, but was pretty... More

I have no complain about this hotel. Everything is just what you expected from a 5 star : - the check in was smooth - the luggage were promptly sent to the room - the room is of a good size (we were upgraded to a premier room which was a corner room - so I think the receptionist told... More

I got the room as a surprised birthday vacation for my partner during December. The hotel is fancifully decorated and you thought you entered Alice in wonderland. Checking in took a bit of time but the staff were nice enough to give me a complimentary upgrade. The room is classy overlooking the swimming pool and the gym. And the gym... More

This was our second trip to Singapore and the first time we stayed at Royal Scotts on Plaza. Hotel rooms in Singapore can be quite small and as we were there 10 days in Singapore, we wanted a bit of “leg room”. Taking advantage of a free upgrade to an Executive Suite turned out to be a great deal for... More
