We had a great stay! The Hostel is perfectly placed and comes as expected. The staff is super friendly. Due to the corona outbreak we came into the situation, that our luggage was stored in the hostel while we had to fly to germany. The staff helped greatly sending back our stuff. Thank you!

There were some great aspects of this place, and I’d love to recommend it, but overall, I cannot, due to lack of cleanliness and insect bites in the dorms. Positives: Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nice free breakfast, great social environment and common areas. The location was also excellent for exploring the city, located in the heart of little India and very close to all transport. Negatives: Do not stay here if you plan on getting a restful night’s sleep, as you will hear very loud music from the clubs across the street until 3am, at least on weekends. Better for partying than resting. My biggest complaint however was that I left here with more insect bites than I’ve ever had anywhere in Southeast Asia. It’s possible that it was mosquitoes, which I realize the hostel would have little control over, but I’m actually fairly confident that the bites are from bedbugs instead, which is a dealbreaker for me in a hostel. I would love to love this place, and I would say it was a pleasant overall experience if not for bedbugs. …

Good budget hostel. Excellent breakfast with lots of food (hard boiled eggs!!) that never runs out. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, helping out with light rail schedules, free city tours available and lots of local incite! The location of the hostel is also great (!) within walking distance of most attraction (in my 5 day stay in Singapore, I only used the light rail on one day - mainly to go and see the botanical garden). The downside. The beds are just ok - I've slept on better and I've slept on worst. There is no privacy, so I had to use two blankets to make curtains (luckily I was in the bottom bunk). The lockers were a little bit small, but good enough to put valuables. The toilets and showers definitely need updating (yuk!) Overall, I'd stay there again, but request a bottom bunk so I can make makeshift curtains . . . .…

Loved this hostel! Such a convenient location and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Unbelievably cheap for what it is, especially considering the free breakfast (there was always plenty to eat and enough for as much as you want). They also do a free scooter tour which was 3-4 hours long... it was brilliantly done with two free water/light shows that we stopped at and places for food and major sites, including the Supertrees and Marina Bay. When we asked for suggestions the staff remembered us and tailored recommendations with loads of detail and really helpful info. Couldn't have tried harder to be accommodating. Also a really nice atmosphere with everyone hanging out downstairs and the scooter tour was a good way to at least recognise some friendly faces around the hostel. Clean and nice bedding too. Friendliest hostel ever!…

The staff was very friendly and they helped us a lot, especially a girl who stayed at afternoon/night (do not remember her name); she explained us everything giving us helful tips. The environment is warm and allow you to communicate easily with other guests Neighbourhood is not the best, but is safe and it is two blocks away from metro station. Facilities are outdate, but quite fair for the price. I didnt like the lockers (was so small and without maintenance) and the stairs need to be fixed.

I have been travelling Thailand/ Indonesia/ Singapore for around a month now and this must be the worst hostel I’ve stayed in thus far. It cost £13 a night and I truly believe it’s the biggest waste of my money. The entrance is small crowed and outdated. There is a wide variety of genders and ages and for a young girl backpacking I would of liked to have known I could be sharing a dorm with an elderly man. The rooms were clean but damn and again outdated, tiny and the beds were uncomfortable and some propped up by books. The air con in our room was broken and either didn’t work or was blisteringly cold. The free breakfast was alright yet the eggs were all black and the butter tin and knifes set out seemed quite unsanitary. The bathrooms up stairs were unisex and never had toilet paper in them. The showers downstairs I avoided as they were next to an electricity box that stated “loose wires do not touch”. Upon check out we then were told it was 5 dollars EACH to even leave a backpack for 2 hours before a flight. This has always been free in every hostel / hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Only godsend was it was v close to Rochor MRT station.…

We selected The InnCrowd as it was one of the cheapest options in the whole of Singapore. The interior of the hostel is pretty old but it does have a good social space downstairs with a free breakfast every morning. The bunk beds are what I can only assume are from the children’s section in Ikea, but once again, we didn’t expect much more paying so little a night in one of the most expensive cities in the world. I would recommend selecting a dorm room with fewer people at the back of the hostel, away from the road. I spent one night in a 6 person dorm and got a reasonable nights sleep but changed to a 12 bed dorm at the front of the hostel and it was extremely noisy. All in all, a decent stay for the price. The staff (particularly the lady at the front desk) were always so helpful too. You won’t be spending much time here when you’re exploring the city. Tip for Singapore on a budget: eat at the Hawkers! We never spent more than the equivalent of £5 on a meal at these (Hawker Chan was delicious and even has a Michelin star!) Other good hawkers for delicious but cheap food are: Lau Pa Sat as well as Maxwell Road Food Centre. …

Hi travelers! If you are on a solo or a budget trip to Singapore, then staying at InnCrwod hostel would be a good choice. I stayed there for two nights and had breakfast included in the package. The bunk bed with this package was reasonably priced at $35. However, make sure to take a mosquito repellent gel or cream with you. I had to face a hard time sleeping because of the mosquitoes. Otherwise, the staff and the facilities are well in place.

Stayed here for two nights as a solo female traveller and enjoyed my stay. Easy enough to meet people to do stuff with, due to the common area! The room was an ok size and clean but there was only one power plug with an extension cable, and as the rooms didn't have locks I wasn't too comfortable putting anything on charge overnight. Security was ok but would have preferred locks on the rooms as well. Location is really amazing, Little India is really nice to explore and has easy transport access, as well as plenty of food options. The bathroom was mostly clean however, there was some weird sick looking stuff (but didn't smell like sick?) on the floor one morning so potentially an early morning bathroom check hadn't been done. Free breakfast is very basic but can't complain about free food. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the lady who was working in the evening (didn't catch her name) - she was really helpful and so lovely, help me sort my bus to KL as well as giving loads of info about local area and where to go/ eat, thank you! Overall would recommend for a few nights…
