We selected this Hotel after reading reviews, and Email contact direct with reception,we booked a terrace room for 150 Sing $ a night. The terrace was tiny but at least we could use it to see Little India & the tunnel works. The hotel is very handy to most tourist attractions,Taxi fares are reasonable in price. The room was spotless, but a little on... More

Decent sized, clean rooms. However do NOT choose rooms facing the road, very noisy not only from the traffic but from drunken revellers! But it is good value for money and staff pleasant enough..so if I was travelling on strict budget, I'd stay here, otherwise I would look at alternative accomodations. More

First impressions of the Mayo Inn are good - the reception area is clean, modern looking and beautifully air-conditioned after the heat and humidity on the street. The reception staff are friendly and happy to help or to give advice. I stayed with my mum in a family room - we chose it because it had a double and a... More

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in Feb-12. Chose the hotel because of the location and rather good review at tripadvisor. At SGD110, hard to find better value in Singapore these days. The only minus is probably the no-window room. More

My wife and I recently spent three days at the Mayo Inn, Singapore. I am at a bit of a loss as to how to describe the Mayo as we both enjoyed our stay but also felt it had some serious deficiencies On the positive side, the Mayo is inexpensive by Singapore standards. It is reasonably well located in Little... More

We checked into this hotel based on location (very near to the Little India tube station...very fun and vibrant area of town!) and price (very reasonably priced compared to many hotels in Singapore). We stayed in this hotel on 2 separate occasions during our time in Singapore. The first time we booked the roof terrace room, the most expensive of... More

Since the price in Singapore are very high, this hotel is the best we could find for about $100 per night. Rooms are basic and noisy. Little India isn't the best district for tourists, but it's the cheapest one. The hotel looks much better than surrounding hotels. Internet is very slow, you'd better buy a SIM card for 3G internet.... More

Mayo Inn is situated at the tip of Little India. It is across Hotel 81 on one side and Sim Lim Tower on the other. The nearest MTR station is about 10 minutes away. Since I was with family, we chose to commute by taxi. The room we got was at the ground floor. It wasn't noisy and it didn't... More

For the price, this is an excellent value. You can take the MRT from the airport and you'll only need to transfer once. The MRT station is about a 10 minute walk. It's near Sim Lim and there are a few restaurants nearby, try the Spicy Thai Thai grilled squid around the corner! The hotel was extremely clean and quiet.... More

The double western style room was clean, with the sink in the room and clean en-suite shower/toilet. There were small bedside tables; a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities along with bottles of water that were replaced daily. There was a small stool and TV, with a makeshift clothes hanger above the fridge made from some railing. The main problem with... More
