The hotel is in a very good location, the lobby is average... once you get in the room... very small, you hardly have room to place your luggage and work on the desk,... the internet connection is fast though, not as fast as in USA or Mexico but fast... the only trouble is that sometimes it gets disconnected or the... This hotel is old and for sure the bedrooms need an upgrade, the bathrooms one day were white, but now have yellow bathtubs and walls. the people in the reception in general don t pay much attention in what you ask for, but you can find some sympathetic girls. The breakfast has good variety and fresh fruits. The wi-fi is... More

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to do whatever we asked. The room was comfortable and very clean. It is located in one of the safest feeling areas of Santiago, and in close proximity to fine restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Santiago.

I stayed in the Hotel Neruda for 8 nights, travelling with work. Check-in was smooth, though speaking some Spanish definitely came in handy. My room was large, clean, quiet and modern. And the free wifi worked fine. There was a breakfast buffet each morning, including fruits, cereal, eggs, bacon, croissants etc. - All great, except for the frequent lack of... More

Unfortunately, this is one of my worst hotel experiences in quite some time. The carpets are dirty and stained. I took photos of hair all over the bathroom wall, and in the tub. It is not easy to get a car service or a taxi, and I was glad to visit another hotel and connect with a driver who helped... More

This was my first trip to Chile and so I can't compare with other Hotels there, but this Hotel was well below my expectation for a business trip. The reception is small and under-manned which presented some problems on check-in. The day I arrived there was no hot water and I had to find an interpreter to speak to the... More

The hotel LOOKS nice, rooms are a good size and staff seemed nice. However, trying to sleep, the air was so pugent, I thought for sure it was a smoking room. We tried keeping the windows open, but the noise from employees talking and laughing outside was too loud, and the smoking of them on break was unbearable. We tried... More

Because of a family emergency in the United States, we had to cut our vacation short. We arrived at the Hotel Neruda at about 10 p.m. and were told the rate was $260 per night. When I told them that the price I saw online was $160, the desk clerks said they could not honor it. I think $260 is... More

Do not stay at the Hotel Neruda. Sure, it has a great location. But the rooms are sub-par and the staff doesn't give a damn about your comfort. First night was okay. Checked out, saw the country, and am back 4 nights later. They've stuck me in a room with horrible noises in the ceiling that they've clearly worked on... More
