We stayed here about 2 weeks after the earthquake hit Santiago in 2010. The hotel was very comfortable, centrally located with a patio overlooking a plaza for food etc. The room was quite comfortable with a friendly staff. They helped us with excursions and stored bags while we had checked out and waited for a flight. More

Amazing location. Loved the area for anyone who loves to eat drink and wander. Quite a artsy crowd and very young. Staff amazing. Rooms a bit small and no A/C. Would stay again for sure. More

Good little spot if you want to be right in the action of BellaVista. That said- for the money- there are many other places to stay that are quieter. Had to download a sleep machine on my phone to listen to at night time. They've done a nice job making the decor chic and modern. Old home conversion was done... More

The hotel is nice, very well located, nice rooms. The only negative point is the staff Who is friendly but very young and not experienced enough. For example they completely forgot during 2 days to tell me that i had received a call from one of my friend Who left a Message for me at the reception! I was a... More

The hotel location is quite good, close to bars and restaurants. So close it is on the floor immediately above at least one restaurant. We were kept awake with music until 3am, and smoke coming up through the floor from the restaurant below. There is no escaping the noise, busy road on one side and restaurants and bars on the... I found Hotel del Patio in the NYT and was impressed with the reviews and pictures. What I found when I arrived was an upscale hostel in a good location. The rooms are small (particularly the single rooms). I was in a double room and found it to be a little dirty and with spotty internet wifi. The rooms do... More

OVERALL: We had a great stay here. It feels like a family establishment. I would definitely recommend it! ROOM: Comfortable and well-kept. Our room had a large bed (queen-sized would be my guess), desk and chair, window that looked out onto the street, a flat-screen tv (caveat: few channels ... but you're not in Santiago to watch tv anyway), closet,... This hotel is in a great location in Barrio Bellavista, but the noise from the adjoining bars and restaurants is very loud and can ruin your sleep. The hotel itself is quite cool, with wifi in every room. It was converted from an old house. The rooms are a great size but my biggest issue was the size of the... More

The rooms are somewhat small and the floor creaks when you move across it but this unique hotel has a lot going for it. Be prepared to carry your luggage up the winding staircase to the reception after you have figured out how to be buzzed in and don't expect a large closet to hang your clothes. But the the... More

I'm writing this review while staying at this hotel. 1. Location: Awesome. Lots of restaurants, bars, and nightlife within one block! Downside to this location is the noise from those restaurants and bars which stay open till 4 or 5am, esp. on the weekend. 2. Property Condition: Old renovated house with creaky wood floors and huge doors and plaster walls.... More
