“Student group received TERRIBLE service at Hotel San Javier in QUITO”

I was part of of a group of 7 students staying in Ecuador for a service-learning class. We selected the hotel due to the good reviews the web-site had. The Hotel did not provide us with drinking water. The food in the hotel had a living slug in the salad! The rooms were clean, but we had trouble getting towels... More

Great clean hostel. All the rooms have private bathrooms, and breakfast is included in the price. Free internet. Super safe, you have to buzz in at all times. Staff is super nice. More

I recommend San Javier to anyone traveling to Quito. The rooms are clean, and very affordable. The owner was very helpful, he recommended places to sightsee and good places to go eat. Overall, I had a nice experience and would stay at this Hostal again if traveling to Quito. More
