We stayed at Casa Aliso for four nights before going to the Galapagos, and it was a beautiful old house converted into a small hotel. We were two couples and both stayed on the main floor. My husband and I had a room with a little patio that we unfortunately could not take advantage of as it was raining when... More

A lovely, friendly boutique hotel in Quito. The staff were very helpful, especially Patrick who escorted us to the restaurant one night when we got lost! Breakfast, coffee and cakes recommended. Would go back and stay if ever return to Quito. More

Casa Aliso is an old mansion turned into a small hotel. The place is really beautiful, huge best, renovated furniture and two fireplaces at the lobby and lounge. More

We stayed 3 nights and can see why the ranking is so high. The first night the front desk (owner?) not only recommended a restaurant, he walked us the 4 blocks there and took us inside. Talk about personal service! He also allowed us to stay until 5pm on checkout day at no additional charge. Breakfast is nice, with eggs... More

When traveling to the Galapagos Islands, we stayed one night on our way there at a very well appointed hotel. We were very surprised to find ourselves in this well maintained, boutique-style hotel that our travel agency reserved for us. The rooms were large, beds super-comfortable and the attending personnel extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was a great add-on as... More

We are a family of three and enjoyed the homey atmosphere, WiFi, and nice staff. The breakfasts were good too. More

This hotel was great! I love boutique hotels and this one was one of the best hotels I've stayed in over my whole 9-month trip, so that's saying a lot! So colorful and fun! The breakfast was great... The orange juice in particular was fantastic! My only regret was that there was no one else there... Otherwise, fantastic! If you... More

If you like small and personal - Casa Aliso is IT! As others have said the amenities are great....lovely rooms, wonderful fresh breakfast, tea and cookies in the afternoon, lovely evening fire, honor bar, and just the most helpful and nicest people work there. They go above and beyond. We rented a car to go to the Middle of the... More

As most of the reviews say, it's a beautiful house, with garden, and rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable, the showers hot, etc The staff are friendly and helpful. the laundry situation needs sorting out, but that's a minor point. I enjoyed staying here, and highly recommend it. More
