The Hilton Colon is an excellent oasis in Quito. The rooms are up to international standard. Hiltons Honors members are treated really well. The hotel is convenient (a 20 minute walk to the old city). Service is impeccable.

I love this hotel. The rooms are big and airy and the bed is 6 feet wide so plenty of room to stretch out. The conceriage are extremely helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. My only gripe would be the restraunt. If you go there in the evening the service is painfully slow compared to European standards.

Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour of the Galapagos. Hotel was VERY nice on the outside and in the lobby, but after that, I felt it was somewhat "meh". The service from every single person we interacted with at this Hilton was a perfect 10. It was the best stay I have ever had at a Hilton. I would recommend this hotel. Every single thing was perfect.

I went to the Hilton, as there wasn’t room at the Sheraton (just kidding). The hotel is in the middle of a very busy area (bars, discos, offices, handicrafts stores just a block away) which can be good or bad depending on what you want (be careful at nights, assaults/robbery are very common in the area).
