We really enjoyed our small but cozy room with a clean and well-maintained bathroom. The hotel restaurant (was that really filet mignon) was disappointing. Breakfast was good. We had to ask that the air freshener be removed from the room.

The friendly, excellent service, good food, and cleanliness all make Hostal de La Rabida a great place to stay in Quito. Gloria goes out of her way to take excellent care of the guests. We arrived late and had to leave fairly early and there was staff there to help us on our arrival and departure. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. We loved the rabbit :) We had a minute to walk and they gave us good directions to the town.
