Note the new airport has opened in Quito and travel time is 1 to 1 1/2 hours to hotel. Hotel just a few blocks from Plaza Foch, lots of cute restaurants. Short walk to La Mariscal market and Casa de la Culture. Hotel was clean, staff helpful and restaurant on site was good. Buffet breakfast was included.

I had a standard room, which was spacious and very clean. Because of all the dark wood it was a little dismal. This hotel is in a great location near restaurants and shopping. Rooms are extremely spacious. Rooms in new tower have whirlpool tubs and are very modern. Older tower rooms are simple but are well laid out. I was very satisfied and would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very well located. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the new wing. Suite was very comfortable but even though we were on eight floor we could hear noise from the street bars. Nice hotel and relatively big modern rooms but this hotel lacks of soul. Lack of soundproofing in the rooms.Lobby and other public areas are very empty and 'cold'. Restaurant is average for breakfast. There are better deals in Quito for the same price range.

Stayed here twice for a total of five days during a recent volcano climbing trip. The hotel has two sections: the original (where I stayed as part of the volcano climbing package) and a newer wing.
