We used this hotel as our base camp on a recent trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. It has an excellent location adjacent to the major sites in Old Town and was very convenient. They stored our extra bags between various portions of our trip and were of great help. While it is true that their polished wooden floors are... More

We stayed at Patio Andaluz with our two boys (7 and 12) as a stopover before travelling to the Amazon and Galapagos. The hotel is nice and the staff friendly and helpful especially reception and the doormen and bellboys. The breakfasts are excellent; plentiful with a large range of foods. We also ate in the restaurant where the meals were... More

Just got back from Ecuador, this hotel is lovely, but the rooms can be very noisy. Our room was in the front area above the breakfast area, and you can hear the staff working at 6am. My mother-in-law also could hear the person above her taking a bath at 11pm. I think the better rooms are in the back of... More

I stayed at this hotel a couple of times, but never had the chance to write a review. The hotel is very cozy and friendly. Staff is very courteous and well trained on how to take care of customers. Since I do business with ecuadorian government, this hotel has the perfect location for me to be on time to all... More

The hotel is comfortable but the rooms can be a bit noisy due to the night club next door. The meals are adequate but not memorable. The staff are attentive and friendly. All in all the hotel is a good location at a reasonable price More

During my trip to Ecuador I stopped three times at this hotel. My friend Julia and I were on a tour of Ecuador and chose this hotel via most of the reviews already written by travellers. It was a lovely hotel. From the outside it looks ok but it's very nice when you walk in. The staff were warm and... More

Free internet, nice, unique rooms, very food restaurant, air conditioning in each room. Be advised - there are several different room types. Some are large and have a couple of rooms to them. There was one that was small. Make sure you get the larger one. Breakfast was included for us and was continental style. The location is fantastic. Just... More

We stayed here for 3 seperate nights before, during and after trips to the rain forest and the Galapagos islands. It is a small pretty hotel set a short walk away from shops, churches and the Bassillica. As other guests have already stated the floors are wooden and extremely slippery in socks or when walking over the rugs and we had... More

I stayed here 3 nights at the tail end of a trip to the Galapagos. I chose the Patio Andaluz due to its location in the heart of the old town, which is unbeatable unless you want to pay 2-3 times the price for the Plaza Grande (I don't see the point when it is one block away). It is... More
