I like that every room has large windows that open into an interesting space. It is 3 blocks to the central plaza and near good restaurants. Large bathrooms. Great price. More

Friendly staff and great breakfast. Rooms are a bit cold but extra blankets available. Good on price and charming manager. More

By far my best stay in Ecuador. These folks are real charmers. Great rooms although I did have to change rooms the first night due to noise from the adjacent room. Nicely located in the historic district and close to the main features of Cuenca...their churches and the hat factory. Highly recommended and good on price. More

This hotel has old school decor, but was charming, clean and quiet. The staff is attentive and very eager to help with any questions. It's situated in a great location in old town, within walking distance to many sights and shops. The breakfast (included in our stay) was served in the attached restaurant, Carbon - this restaurant was a very... More

The staff were extremely helpful and would accomodate evry need. The restaurants were very good. Staff understtod some English and helped with our halting Spanish. No elevators and we were on the third floor. There were 22 steps. I know. We weren't used to the altitude and we got very tired going up the stairs. try for the second floor.... More

The staff was very helpful and went out of their way often. The location is great close to everything and very comfortable. The quietest downtown hostel I have ever stayed in. The restaurant had very good Italian. Breakfast was good. More

This is an older, very comfortable hotel that was once, I´m sure, a luxury accommodation in it´s heyday. The rooms are spacious with very high ceilings, all updated with flat screen TVs. I chose a room with a view of the street which was somewhat noisy, but preferable to the room they first put me in which had no window... More

Oddly, our family stayed in the same room as the other reviewer, 304. The bathrooms seemed to vent into the master bedroom and so the smell became overwhelming in the evening. At night I slept with Vicks vapor rub under my nose to drown out some smell. We stayed there for one week and the smell never went away. The... More
