There are many hotel options in Arequipa but when I got there, they all seemed to be full. I stayed 2 nights in the Hotel San Felipe for 50 soles per night and though it was wasn't the cheapest option, it was a good place to stay.
The hotel is very clean and run by a friendly and helpful gentleman....

I was concerned that this place had no reviews but took a chance anyway. Paid 90 soles for a double with private bathroom. yes all the outside walls are made of glass but you are next to a police station and there isn´t any street noise.
