We only stayed at the Casa Blanca for one night on our way to Colca canyon. It was quaint and comfortable. The hotel doesn't consist of too many rooms (as far as we could tell), and has a bar and cafe downstairs. Apparently the cafe in the lobby is also quite famous for their smoothies which were delicious. The property... More

After a long night without sleep on a bus, we were wandering the streets of Arequipa, looking for a place to stay. We bumped into this hostal and we loved it! The people were very friendly and very helpful. We first going to stay there for 2 nights, but we ended up staying there 7 nights because my girlfriend got... More

We stay in this hostel for two nights. After spending a few days in Cabanaconde visiting the Colca Canyon, we back to Arequipa and spend another night in Casablanca Hostel. The first time we stay in room number 1, a double room with private bathroom: very spacious, with a big sofa, a desk, a tv, a closet, good towels and... More

I heard about this hotel from the great reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. I had originally booked just a night but ended up staying for a week and loved it. It was the first warm room I've stayed at in Peru! (my room didn't have any windows which could be why) I had the room with the shared... More

Very clean and comfortable rooms, the staff were so friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome. Was great to have a nice coffee shop located right near our room and we also enjoyed nice meals there too. It really was the best place we stayed in Peru! Thanks to all the staff. More

We stumbled upon this place after already booking a hotel in the area. We immediately fell in love with it. We checked out of our hotel the next day and came here. The hotel is clean, extremely safe, and all the staff is superb. Mercedes, the manager, takes her job as a hostess very seriously. Every one of her guest... More

While traveling, my friends and I did not plan ahead and book hostels in advance. As a result, it was often difficult to find available since it was a peak travel time. We arrived in Arequipa and stumbled upon this hostel. There was some hesitation since it was a bit more expensive than we anticipated, however it was worth the... More

I was looking forward to staying here after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor, but unfortunately I didn't have a very enjoyable stay, mainly due to getting woken up by noise. When I first arrived they had no record of my booking, although I'd booked online through the tour company that owns the hostal. However they had plenty of... More

I highly reccomend staying at La Casa Blanca. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Not only was it nice, but it was a big plus having a coffee shop right outside in the patio area. Every morning I would wake up and have the Cafe Ole special-- a drink with Baileys irish cream. Delicious!!! The employees made us feel... More
