We stayed here in April of 2012 for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier. The rooms are stunning with classic Spanish/Andean charm and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We traveled with another couple (all in our 30's) and spent tons of time in the courtyard. We ate our breakfast out there, had beers, coca tea, etc. The... More

In May 2011 (yes, this review is late...I'm sorry), my family and I stayed at Unaytambo Hotel for 3 nights. My sister and I (22 & 25 years old) stayed in one room while my father and stepmom stayed in another. We loved are time at Unaytambo Hotel for many reasons: 1) The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The linens... More

We stayed at this hotel before and after our visit to Machu Picchu. It is very centrally located across from the Coricancha ruins and Santo Domingo church. It is an attractive older building with a central courtyard and has been modernized to offer a private bathroom in each room. Room 205 is very spacious and overlooks the church. It is... More

This hotel is quite charming with beautifully furnished rooms matching the colonial feel and architecture. Bathrooms were a bit on the tiny side, but spotless and most importantly no issues with the hot water. Staff spoke good English and service was good, although maybe not as welcoming and more aloof compared to other places in Peru. My only gripe is... More

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff was attentive and even found us a wonderful tour guide for our adventures into the Sacred Valley. They were very helpful in helping us find local places to eat too! Breakfast was good, not American style (huge) but definitely filling and plentiful. There was hot tea available all day long! The location was... More

We booked this hotel based on great trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed! The staff were so helpful, they gave us a great briefing on cusco when we arrived (where to eat, what to do, etc - all turned out to be really good) and went out of their way to help in anyway ( laundry, directions, taxi's).... This hotel is very well located a short walk to the main Plaza and directly opposite one of the main attractions in Cusco. The entrance is in an alley way, which leads through some small streets into the centre. The reception does not do the rooms justice as i was quiet surprised by the quality of the bedrooms. There is... More

My family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights, 2 before and 2 after Machu Picchu. The wonderful staff was the highlight of our stay--everybody spoke English and worked really hard. Melvin, who worked the front desk most of the time we were there, gave us great restaurant recommendations and attended to our every need. The breakfast was okay. The... More

It's hard to find the right hotel in Cuzco and not spend an insane amount, not be in a dumpy hostel, not be located above a noisy bar, not be far from Plaza de Armas, and get some local charm. Unaytambo ticks all the boxes. + Good location, a few blocks from Plaza de Armas, across the street from the... More

--Room is very clean/charmingand warm, the only minor issue I have is with the bathroom, which doesn't match the charm of the room and the hotel. --Breakfast at courtyard was so nice and lovely. Location is quite good. --Staff---extreamly healpful and nice, the owner should really treasure them. --They have been very flexible with my itinerary as well, and I... More
