Rather a funky, but fun place. All the rooms are different. It has a great location near the Plaza de Armas and decent prices. Watch out for Walter for he will try to short change you. A good value if you get all your change back.

With a roof-top view over Cusco several inviting common areas and pleasant staff, this is the only place to be in Cusco! It's only about 3 blocks from the Plaza de Armes as well. Good showers with constant hot water and clean rooms. We were even provided a heater in the room (although the weather was warm enough that it... More

Nice room, view from the room on the second floor, big rooms, daily cleaning, HOT water, wifi everywhere, decent included breakfast... for the same price than a top ranked hostel in the Lonely Plant guide book, budget section. No hesitation, pick this one instead. Plus the Patio is lovely and the personal very nice.

Had a great stay in this hostal. The rooms are big even though the one we stayed in is a little dark (pick the one on the second floor - seems to have more natural light). It came with private bathroom, a heater, telephone, cable TV, and hot water. Wifi is available in the dining room, but not in our... More

After having a horrible experience at Hostal Amaru, (bedbugs, no room heaters, and WAY too much noise at the Amaru) we moved across the street to the Hospedaje San Blas. Its not as "fancy", but it is absolutely clean, with large rooms, comfortable beds, soft pillows, 24 hour gushing HOT water, very quiet, wi-fi, TVs, laundry service, Peruano breakfast, gracious... The staff was very helpful. The room was clean though very bare bones. I would recommend it if you are not planning to spend a lot of time in your room. It was perfect for me as I was out all day sightseeing and only returned to sleep and shower.

I stayed at Hospedaje Turístico San Blas for a total of four nights on a trip involving some work and some leisure. The rooms are nice (amply sized, private bathrooms), there is a functional wireless internet connection, and the feel of the hotel is homey and comfortable. Also, the staff is hugely freindly and accomodating. I had been somewhat hesitant... More

We loved this backpackers stop starting with the cozy lobby area. It is an old facility but has maintained the oldness of a time that seemed so simple. Old wood floors and cute balconies that lead to your room. We stayed in a room that was supplied for 4 people. 4 beds and they were REAL comfy! Lined with wool... More

This was my first hotel experience in Peru, and I was unsure as to what to expect for $30 for a double. I was very happy with our choice; for the money it is great. The hotel is in the San Blas neighborhood, but very close to the main square. It is up a small hill (I live in San... More

We enjoyed a pleasant stay in this hotel The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, but basic. It had a recently remodeled bath and heating -which is not a sure thing in Peru. The hotel is an old charming building, well maintained. However, make sure which kind or room you are getting, because we saw some without windows. The cost... More
