As for several jungle lodges I have been to, Sinchicuy seems to be a little bit too much civilized :). Nice, huge dining area, mowed lawns, good landscaping, tamed parrots (colourful macaws) and little monkeys coming in during the lunch time to get some bananas. Rooms are simple but clean, there's no beds covering mosquito nets (they have all windows... More

We want to say thank you for the excellent tour! We stayed in the very nice Sinchicuy Amazonas Lodge. We had the best and unforgettable impressions of what we saw. This is certainly thanks to our tour guide Johnny! We want once again say a big thanks to him for a very interesting excursions and interesting stories about the jungle,... More

This was one of Pergrine's disasters. We were booked into another Lodge but because the Amazon was in flood, the original Lodge was flooded and we ended up in this Lodge. The rooms were dismal all day long and were dirty. We had to use torches during the day if we wanted to do anything requiring a good light. It's... More

I totally recomend people to choose this option. Because, it´s a completely different experience to be surrounded by the nature. Personally, I think it was the most magical experience ever. At first, I felt uncomfortable when I was bitten by a geat deal of mosquitos, but then I handle it. (with mosquito repellent) When I remember this trip I can´t... More

We had a great time at the lodge. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable, and was eager to share the jungle with us. The rooms were okay, but luxurious compared to houses found in the surrounding area. I suppose I can't complain. Pretty small and not a lot of privacy. Rooms were lit by lantern at night. Cold water only,... More

My mother and I had been planning our trip to Peru for about a year. We had 2 things we needed to see and do. 1. Machu Pichu and 2. The Amazon Rain Forest And we got what we wanted out of our Amazon experience here. This lodge is amazing, just amazing. In the morning a little troop of monkeys... More

A trip into the jungle with Paseos Amazonicos and a stay at their Sinchicuy Lodge - terrific. The lodge is beautiful, food good, rooms simple but very spacious and fine with private bathrooms. The guide was great, incredibly knowledgeable, capable and fun.

I stayed there for 2 nights and I think is an average lodge in Iquitos. They picked us from the Hotel in a singular bus and took us to the river shores to get a boat ride to the lodge, during the ride we went to see the Amazon River dolphins, this was really nice! Arriving to the lodge they... More

Although the price of the lodge/tour was higher than many other tour companies out of Iquitos, the quality of the tour made it a good value. My wife and I stayed for two days and one evening. We enjoyed walks through the jungle/ local villages, swimming in the Amazon River and decent meals. The tour guide also offered informative commentary... More

I have stayed here several times with humanitarian groups. Because it is close to Iquitos wildlife is really non existent with the exception of a troop of monkeys that pass through to eat the hanging bananas. During the dry season it is usually unreachable by boat necessitating a hike from the nearby village. Weekends can be lively in the village... More
