Stayed for 10 days on a business trip the staff were mostly helpful, only took breakfast but decent selection. Some construction on top floor so pool and spa unavailable would have been nice after several long days. Good location for exploring Miraflores

Had my bag stolen($1000 in cash) 1 hour after arriving at hotel in dining room. They still charged us for the meal, took no responsibility for the theft (even though staff had approached thieves and was recorded on video). Said they would upgrade us when we came back for another 6 nights, didn't happen( were put in a smaller room).... More

The room I got was huge, very clean and comfortable. The location and the food wasn't so great but it's tolerable. Internet was intermittent but available for most of the time.

The Sol de Oro hotel has great value. The hotel rooms are big and no sound comes in from the outside. We stayed here twice, in 2 different rooms...very clean, nice rooms and very nice helpful staff. A short walk to the restaurants, and has a little shop close by. Sadly the pool and spa were being renovated whilst we were there so didn't get to use it.
