We only wish we could have stayed longer. We had a whole house to ourselves and the setting was incredible. Lush surroundings and beautiful mountains in the background. The maintenance couple came by and started a fire for us at night. We loved Melissa's restaurant across the road--food was surperb and the staff was incredible. We also ate at Melissa's... More

I highly recommend Melissa Wasi and would love to return one day. Laid back atmosphere, very friendly and sociable staff and visitors, picturesque surroundings, stunning mountain view from the upstairs yoga room, free wi-fi in the social areas. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and aesthetically rustic. Colourful artisan markets (awesome alpaca woolies) and restaurants 15 min walk away or... More

Trust everything they tell you, it is like a perfectly scripted dream. Spend as much time in the sacred valley as possible because as soon as it is over you will wish you were back there. If you are reading this and are on the fence go. Do not hesitate, it is the most relaxing, rejuvinating place I have ever... More

Melissa Wasi is the kind of place where you would like to stay more than you expected. When you arrive on the little path leading to the place, you feel already that your choice was a good one. We stayed there in family, and all of us were glad. Beautiful nature, nice garden, authentic houses with wood fire, and, more... More

This was by far our favorite place to stay in the Sacred Valley. The rooms were very nice and the grounds were beautiful. The atmosphere was very relaxing and tranquil. The best part of our stay were the hosts, Joyce & Chito. They were very welcoming and helpful. They would go out of their way to make sure we were... More

Our group of seven spent one night at Melissa Wasi at the beginning of a week long tour of the Sacred Valley. And that would be my only regret, that it was just one night! We were instantly made to feel at home, and the views from the property are just wonderful. Tired and hungry, we enjoyed a delicious dinner... More

My friends and I always stay here when we are visiting the area of Pisac. The owner, Chito, is such a warm and amazing person. Very courteous and very service oriented. I watched him enjoying pasta and some vino with some of his guests, while I was heading out to eat in town. There is also an incredible restaurant right... More

An amazing place with super friendly staff and great rooms. To get into the town of Pisaq it's a 3 soles taxi ride or a lovely walk along the river, maybe 15 minutes. They also have a beautiful garden and at night when it's a bit cold they always have a fire in the house.

Melissa Wasi is excellent as a base for visiting the Pisac area: the atmosphere is relaxed and homely; the owners are very friendly and helpful; and their on site restaurant (Trattoria Escondida) provides absolutely delicious meals. As with other places I visited in Peru, I wished I had sought their local travel advice at the time of booking.
