We arrived on a rainy night in February, and upon contacting Las Chullpas, learned that it would be better to eat dinner in town, as during that month, with fewer guests, they buy food for scheduled diners on that day. The recommended restaurant was Qanela Restaurante, a delightful establishment that serves local Peruvian food. Well fed, we made our way... More

I absolutely loved Las Chullpas. The rooms are so beautifully decorated. Each room has a fire place and wood for a fire which makes it sooo cozy. The rooms are in lovely little bungalows in the middle of nature. In front of the room a very comfortable hanging chair, hammocks, it is the best place to have a good rest... More

Las Chullpas is located in a beautiful natural surounding far from roads. It is for that reason that I liked to stay. To my dissapointment, this establishment cannot be called a ¨hotel¨ for its negligent and low quality of service (e.g. except for breakfast there is no possibility of ordering any food), nor it can be denominated an eco-lodge: except... The overall impression of my stay in las Chullpas was neutral. Rooms are nice, clean and different from the ordinary hotel room (with stove etc.). The breakfast is very rich in taste and quantity. The whole area looks like a little camp in the middle of the nature. Yet, the following things overshadowed our stay: -water in the shower didnt... More

This hotel is unique in so many ways. It is a family run business nestled against a mountain and thankfully out of the hustle and bustle of Urubamba. Each room is uniquely designed with it's own fireplace, and the crew that runs the hotel is very helpful. I've had several friends stay here as well and they've all had a... More

My wife and I arrived with our driver from Pisac in mid-afternoon, June 2012, after having explored the Pisac, Moray and Salinas ruins in the Sacred Valley. We were greeted by Chalo’s (the manager’s) stepson amidst a beautiful, rustic lodge and well designed cabins nestled in the hills above Urubamba, complete with a duck pond and lavish landscaping using indigenous... Las Chullpas is up on the mountain away from town but oh so wonderful! We found no reason to leave except to venture out hiking. The rooms are comfortable but with a rustic feel to them. They have used some clever ideas in the rooms and around the grounds that just put a smile on your face. See what they've... More

Local and very good food for the one who pay attention about the quality and the planet, you can't choose what you will eat so you eat seasonal and it's very good !... More

We visited Las Chullpas in April 2012 and we were so pleased we did! It is unique and everyone who goes to the sacred valley should stay here. The breakfast is wonderful and Charlo is so helpful. We had a camp fire outside as our chimney was blocked in the room but the outdoor fire was even more perfect. This... More
