Quiet, garden setting, old monestary set within the sacred valley. Beautiful sunsets, lemon trees, birds and flowers. Roaring fireplace, peruvian coffee ( coffee with Pisco...strong!) Stayed here 1 night with the remainder of ourtour group who did not do the Inca Trail...felt like paradise. Fair warning, you are staying in a garden so insects in your room are unavoidable. rooms... I was with a group that did volunteer dental work at Chincheros,so we stayed here for the week.It was a nice quiet place to stay.People were very helpful there. The restaurant was very nice, and the food was very good. The breakfast they serve was excellent every morning, and was included. I stayed here for two nights as part of a relaxed solo visit to the Sacred Valley, so had a fair amount of time in and around the hotel. The hotel was comfortable and friendly, but somewhat overrun by tour groups in the evening and early morning. One very good plus point was a helpful young man who made the... More

We stayed here for one night in mid-December and were pleasantly surprised. The hacienda is beautiful and the gardens spectacular. We had two upstairs rooms with views of the valley and mountains that were quite breath-taking. No insect problems but as stated by other reviewers, the rooms are quite spartan. Lovely timber floors and timber finish on furniture. No problems... More

I was booked at this hotel through a private tour I was taking of Peru. I stayed for two nights. My expectations were pretty high after looking at the hotel's website. When I pulled up to the hotel, I became a little leery. The street view was a surprise. There was some sort of work going on with the sidewalk,... More

After spending four nights in the Amazon Basin in fairly basic conditions we were looking forward to hot showers and what our driver described as a "beautiful hotel" La Cason de Yucay is indeed very beautiful with spectacular grounds behind the original hacienda dating from 1810. We were greeted warmly be the receptionist and showed to our room. The room... More

We stayed at La Casona de Yucay a couple of nights before starting the 4 days Inca Trail. The silence at the hotel, the excelent view of Valle Sagrado are incredible. You experience a sort of peace, that I have never experienced in my life. You can enjoy the mountain, the beautiful views, and relax completely. Absolutely recommendable.

We liked our stay at La Casona de Yucay that we changed our plans and stayed an extra night. The staff was amazingly helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had beautiful views. After a couple noisy nights in Cusco, it was luxurious to rest in peace in Yucay. I thank the entire hotel staff for truly making our stay... More
