I would recommend this place for people on a shoestring budget. It was clean, hygeinic, but met expectations for a cheap hostel. It was noisy with cramped quarters and the fans in our 4 person room didn't work. Also, during our two night stay one of the bathrooms was on the fritz so it took forever to get a shower.... More

One of the best hostels i've been to! At the minute i arrived i felt really comfortable there.. the staff is great! They organize EXCELLENT BBQs! Pocitos (the neighborhood where it is) is the safest in Montevideo, so you don't have to worry about getting there late!

Personally, i think this hostel is way down there and there must be better available for the price in Montevideo.
