A new and good business hotel located in a very nice neighborhood (Punta Carretas), near good restaurants, shopping and the rambla. Very efficient and polite service (needed to check out at 3 AM to catch a flight - the checkout was conducted in only five minutes and without hassles). Quite big and clean rooms in the standard business-like hotel decor.

Although far from the old city of Montevideo this is a good hotel in a safe residential area near a lot of tasty neighborhood restaurants in Punte Carretas. Clean and well maintained. This place was great. Large, clean rooms. Bathroom was spotless and modern. Beds were comfortable but a little small (not a king as requested). Rooms are sizable and clean with attractive furnishings. View from our room nothing to pay for, but the view from rooftop worth some time at sunset. Nearby cares, shopping and restaurants are personable and enjoyable. La Perdiz is especially nice. Within easy walking distance to Las Ramblas where we spent a good deal of our time! Would choose hotel again.

I like the location, away from the more crowded area surrounding Av 18 de Julio. It's a nice neighborhood, and hotel is a few blocks from the upscale Punta Carretas shopping mall, with some good restaurant options. Nice and clean rooms.
