Starting from the grumpy receptionist through an uncomfortable night in a highly over-priced room which hasn't seen an inch of renovation in over ten years (awful, springy mattress, mouldy bathroom walls, musty smelling cupboards and exposed wires), there was nothing but disappointment at Tokatoka. We went next door to the Raffles Hotel to catch up with family and were amazed... More

This is the second time we have used Tokatoka as a day stop, not an overnight. The first was about 5 years ago and at the end of December 2011 we had a 14 hour layover in Nadi on the was to USA. I maded the booking by email, checkin staff were courteous and friendly, we spent the day around... More

Now, I don't know if all the decent rooms were taken..but we stayed 1 night before our flight home after spending all days sitting waiting for flood waters to come down between villages. We weren't picky, it was midnight by the time we got there, they had a room, it was cheap. It was good that there was 24 hour... More

This was the third time we stayed at the Tokatoka Resort as a stop over and quite possibly our last.We have always chosen this hotel for the location and great pool as it has a good waterslide for the kids however after an uncomfortable nights sleep we will probably try Raffles Gateway next time due to good reviews on here.Although... Tokatoka resort is it is what it is...probably good for a 1 night stay and not nights. Location is whats best about this hotel i guess. Poor service yet more work can be put into this. Best feature would probably be the pool, good way to spend the day with the family. Overall more can be done to lift the... More

We stayed here at the end of our trip. It was just ok. The rooms were small and not as clean as I would like them (I felt like it needed to have a real deep clean...the grout in the tile was black and there was a stickiness to the floor that i didn't like either), but after staying in... More

The hotel was recommended as near the airport for early flights, and it is moore than sufficientfor that. It has a spa wity massages one quarter or one third of the price of the big resorts, and every bit as good. The problem I encountered was a mosquito infestedrestaurant, there to dine on youat supper andback for breakfast: a real... More

I needed a place to stay before my return flight. I had spent a couple weeks volunteering at the Dilkusha Children's Home in Nausori-courtesy of Projects Abroad and 4 days at the Papageno Resort in Kadavu. It was across the street from the airport. The food was good. Unfortunately there was no television signal in the room because it was... More

Good place to stay just for transiting. I will confirm the towel problem but not the reservation glitch. I made a reservation online and had no problems when I came to the front desk. The staff are courteous. The food is ok, as in just ok. More

I was looking for a hotel close the airport for a 3 night stay for myself my partner, mother & father and 3 friends. Prior to going to our 5 star resort for 7 nights on the Coral Coast. I read all the reviews for the Tokatoka Fiji for several months, leading up to our arrival in Fiji. The comments... More
