Conveniently located between the railroad station and the main square (Jelacic) and across the street from a park, this is a first class operation. The hotel is a short walk both to the train station and Main Square. Stayed in a reasonable priced room that included a full breakfast buffet. In addition to clean accommodations and excellent service, the ground floor restaurant was a high quality eating treat (very good service as well) for less a price than most Zagreb restaurants.

We stopped here for some tea on the way from old town to train station. The staff 're very friendly and we both enjoyed our tea with some snack. The lobby area is really nice and quiet showing pictures of famous guests who stayed in the hotel before.

The common areas were nice so I was pretty disappointed when I initially saw the room - REALLY small and quite dated looking and not in that cool old way but in that oh, the sink is cracked and the carpet needs to be replaced sort of way.
