I stayed in this hotel. Breakfast was great, lot of selection. The staff was very helpful with any questions I had. Room was a little smaller than I expected. Windows could use a washing, hard to see out of them. Courtyard outside was a nice place to sit and enjoy the weather during the day. Only problem was in late... More

The Ramada Majestic is well located in Calea Victoriei, one of Bucharest's main avenues and very close to the historic part of the city. Within a 10 minute walk you are able to reach the main pedestrian area that has many cafes, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is quite old and is in need of major refurbishment. The room... provides everything you need. It's clean, quiet, in a lovely old building. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was rich: tea, coffee, ham, cheese, fruit and vegetables. It's in the center of the city, a ten minute walk to University in one direction or a five minute walk to the National Museum in the other direction. Rooms are clean and big... More

Rooms are the same of ten years ago: little, dark, dusty, with prehistoric tv sets. All the furnitures are good for a Ceausecu era hotel. Bathrooms are in the same condition. Restaurant and, consequently, the breakfast are the worst in Bucharest with unprofessional staff and managers. Prices are high and nearby you can easily find better hotel for the same... More

I stayed two nights at the Ramada Majestic Hotel in Bucharest this week and have to say I left with mixed feelings. The location of the hotel is excellent. Easy walking distance to the historic city center. The price for my stay (€73 a night, including breakfast) was quite reasonable as well and breakfast offered a fair selection of good... More

In the city centre, close to major tourist attractions. Good service, staff very kind. The resturant was good for both dinner and breakfast. Room smelt old and bed wasn't made. There is no wireless internet connection in the rooms. The sauna quite old, needs to be renovated. Noisy air condition. No tea / coffee making facilities in room. More

The location is very close down town and convenient. The rooms are spacious enough, but not 4-star hotel standards. I would evaluate it as 3- star hotel. The breakfast was good enough. Wi fi available only in reception. More

While I agree location is good, there are hotels 400m away which are newer and must be better than this (Radisson Blu anyone?). My Junior suite had little going for it except the amount of space, it was dingy, noisy, old decor, overheated interior, leaking toilet (fixed after 3 requests on consecutive days), one internet wire in the ante-room so... The hotel was perfect located in the old center of Bucharest. Five minutes walk to the bars and restaurants. The room and bathroom was big but the furniture was old en the beds were to short for me (I'm 1.91m). When we asked for a taxi to the airport, they told us it costed a 100 Lei. We told him... More

Nothing there was as described. Tiny, uncomfortable rooms. Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. We've been there October 2011, booked 4 rooms, one of which was supposed to have an extra bed. When we arrived at the front desk, the receptionist couldn't tell us which room had the extra bed, and he sent us up to the rooms to check!! Would never... More
