This was not a good experience. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 out of 5 rating is because I had a $100 voucher (discount) from Expedia. The elevator wasn't working. Breakfast was bland... and you can only eat downstairs. If you try to have something delivered to your room, you have to personally go downstairs to get your... More

Top features - very helpful staff, nice quiet off-street-but-near-the-center ambience Tips: Ask for the larger rooms, i.e the x01's .. worth the few extra lei, the small rooms are ok but after 3-4 days a bit claustrophobic Negatives... breakfast is very simple, fresh bread, grocery-store packet cheese, yogurt but pretty good granola. (The Coffee however, is *excellent*. ) The Wifi... More

We have travelled all over the world, and this hotel experience ranks as possibly our worst experience ever! At checkout, we were "mugged" by a vicious hotel manager. We were forced to pay 20 euros for "eating in our room", and 20 euros for two towels that had gotten a little dirty but would have cleaned up fine in the... More

I really liked the MichelAngelo - the staff were freindly and they had made a real effort to make the food and the room comfortable. Top marks. The breakfast was lovely and recognizably familiar. Very welcome. The host spent time with the guests and very helpful with getting about and finding good restaurants etc. Lovely. More

Very quiet, in the center and we felt safe. Close to Piata Romana and Piata Victoriei. The staff is GREAT, they give you all the information you might need without being bored to answer. The room was very clean. So in one word we had a nice time! If we'll go again to Bucharest we'll definitely stay at this hotel.... More

The walkway to the front door is welcoming and calming: from the babbling fountain to the fragrant flowers. It makes you forget the busy street just outside. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every morning they would remember I was a coffee drinker and prepare a cup for me. The rooms are comfortable and... More
