Our two night stay was OK but many of our group were placed in rooms that were inexcusably small - even for Europe. The staff was borderline surly except waiters/servers who were all pleasant. The elevators were very slow. For an old hotel, it was OK and will probably not get much better. The location was good but most rooms... More

Exellent location close to the very center of the city makes it a perfect place for staying in Belgrade. The rooms are renovated and clean. Though one-bed rooms are pretty small, the family type rooms are spacy enough. The food is good, but does not change day after day, so after staying some days there you will get bored with... More

Fantastic building which in recent years has been tastefully renovated. We went for coffee and the service was fast, friendly and enjoyable. The place has a real buzz about it and great for people watching. More

Most of the rooms are with two parts, living room with toilet and bedroom with bathroom upstairs. Long, big windows and balcony. Great location and service. Small reception lobby but great caffe with gorgeous sweets. Old fashion with taste of past times but because of that different. Clean! More

I agree with pretty much all the reviews. Lovely building. Friendly and helpful staff etc. but special mention on free wifi. It is free and they have repeater stations everywhere resulting in fast and strong signals. Awesome. Nothing worse than hotels that claim free wifi and only give you 30 mins a day. Or only have usable signal in reception... More

the hotel as you approach it is majestic. grand, and beautiful with old world charm. they usually have entertainment eg. piano player in the restaurant. everyone goes there and so its fun to people watch. plus you are on the main street in belgrade so inside and outside you have a wonderful view. the service, the food, the music, the... I have stayed in this hotel only for 1 night - fortunately. The room and bathroom are quite small. (Similar to London ones,if you have ever been to one :) ) Overall the room was clean and organized to be in a practical way but due to space constraints you can't enjoy much. Breakfast buffet was also okay. The location... More

Lakelly, I had to be there one night only otherwise I would switch to another hotel. The room was the smallest room I ever had in my life. My last cruise ship cabin was bigger. I tried to explain to the receptionist that rooms like this simply should not be offered by the kind of the hotel they are trying... More

We splurged on an executive suite since the rooms were relatively inexpensive. This was our first stay as part of a 45 day Balkans trip we designed. The Hotel is very beautiful in a classical sense on the outside and in the public areas inside (mostly - exception is the check-in lobby is spartan but we understand is being renovated).... More

Nice hotel: Very helpfull staff, very good breaffast with a lot of choice, the room was really nice, but with a small bathroom, but it was ok. When you entered the hallway, music started playing, they created a nice athmosfere. And they have a really nice tearoom as well. So i can recommend this place! More
