Chillout hostel is a small flat remade to hostel. There are only two bright and quite spacious dormitory rooms (for 6 people each) one double room plus a comon room that is used as a dormitory if there is such a need. There is one seperate toilet and one shower and they are small but clean. I didn't wait at... More

It's a small hostel and luckily there were not a lot of people because the common room and kitchen aren't big. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower for 24 persons, no real bathroom and not enough hot water for everyone. It's dirty. Personal things from the owner all over (included om the floor) in the common room. But friendly staff... More

This place is located about twenty minutes by foot from Independence Square although most of the walk itself is along Khreschatyk Street and is quite interesting on its own. The hostel itself is a little bit small but the room we stayed in with 3 bunk beds was more than spacious enough for us. The staff was very friendly and... More

The hostel is an appartment in fact. The polish girl who manages the hostel don't care about giving verified informations for travellers. She said that there was a train at midnight in Lviv for Krakow but it was totally wrong. So i wait 7 hours in Lviv station, all night long in fact. For Kiev it's better to rent an appartment and avoid hostels... My partner and I visited Kiev in July 2011 and stayed in the double room at the Chillout Hostel for four night. We arrived late at the hostel (flight delay) and were greeted by Joanne (one of the owners of the hostel) outside. She took us in and gave us a map and directions to a local restaurant for good... Great place to meet fun people or even make friends! I recommend this place to all young travelers visiting Kiev. You can check... More

Very good hostel! You don't have to worry about anything. There is no check out time. Hostel is very small but it helps you to meet new people and you actually feel there like at home. Staff is very friendly, helpful and they can answer all your questions. It was absolutely pleasure to stay with them. Strongly recommended. More

I would like to recommend Chillout hostel in Kiev which was newly established and led by Polish staff. You can find there accommodation in affordable price and meet people from various countries. The staff can give you a lot of useful advice regarding Kiev and Ukraine. You can also ask them for the bicycle which I could lend for free.... More

It's close to city center and many attractions are in a walking distance. This hostel is very small, rooms are very small and crowded but for this price it's hard to find something better in Kiev. Staff are very friendly and helpfull, atmosphere is very nice. You can ask them about anything and certainly they'll help you. More
