Awful hostel, administration steel people's things (i was robbed-my charge device from iphone, which I kept under my bed was stolen) and in the last day manager asked me to pay 100 UAN for a one day in spite of I'd paid for all of days! It turned out that she didn't marked in computer one day of my accomodation,... More

Warm atmosphere and nice people there. Look for Aricio, the owner of the hostel, to have nice ideas about walking around the city, and the guided tours to Chernobyl. I work with nuclear materials, and was amazing to visit Chernobyl. Aricio knows the best places for cheap beer too. One of the best hostels that I've stayed.

It's actually an apartment turned into a hostel, so it's very homy and cozy. It's very easy to meet fellow travelers there. The staff is extremely nice and helpful (big thanks escpecially for Marishka <I have no idea if I spell it correctly>). It's not in the city centre, but easily within the walking distance to the main spots of... More

Maybe it is not easy to find it and the first glimpse at the neighbourhood and the door make you wonder it this is it...but then you enter the door and it is a wonderland!! It is a small cosy hostel 2 floor only but with really cool atmosphere and travellers fro around the world. You have a fridge and... More

The hostel was really great, clean, helpfull staff (specially Aricio, the owner who is a great guy). Fairly close to public transport like trolley and metro. In the evening Aricio took us (me and some other guys sleeping there) to a great bar which I would have never found by myself. Got some great tips to what to visit. I... More

It is really hard to rate a hostel like this. It is not big European hostel with 5 floors. It small and cozy place. Nice common room with kitchen where you can meet other travelers and hang out together. the rooms are seperated from common room so its fine if you want to sleep early. There is a cool bar... More

I stayed here many times over the two years that I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the kitchen/common area was clean, the beds were relatively comfortable, the shower was great. There is an all-female room as well as a private room and larger coed rooms. It's not the most central location for... More

This is a full on traveler hostel; fantastic spot. At time of writing, there's a Ukrainian woman, deud from Brasil and a girl from Poland running two converted flats in a good location. The 12-bed dorm room is HUGE, they help with tours (A nuclear disaster sight is just the thing to brighten up your vacay!), taxi's, the odd chili... More

We stayed here for euro 2012. The staff are fantastic who couldn't do enough to help. Flexible check in & out, very knowledgable about where to go and value for money around Kiev. Bargain at 12-15 euros per night, took us to a great bar nearby and sorted cheap taxis. Can't say thanks enough!

Clean, nice staff which show you the non-tourist stuff and a nice atmosphere. The only downside is it is a bit of a walk to the centre and the station.
