They have rooms of different standards. If you pay more, you get closer to european standard, if you pay the cheapest price, you get the old soviet standard. You get an unrenovated room for about $35 which is not bad value for money. About 15 mins walk to the nearest metro station. Fantastic Italian restaurant just by the side of the hotel, but equally wonderful Korean restaurant inside. More

Hotelroom carpet must be the paradise for all small creatures of Kiev. No airco in the room. Bed and coverage are to small. Breakfastmenu is still the same as in Soviet times. More

The hotel is a typical Soviet-era building on the outside. Inside the lobby, and many of the rooms have been renovated and holds an ok standard.
