I stayed in the Happy House Hotel for a week in July 2010, whilst travelling in El Salvador. It is an excellent budget hotel, with rooms priced at USD 15-20, and including air-con, cable television and private bathroom, plus free wireless AND a computer that you can use if you have not brought your own. I stayed at Hotel Happy House for the month of february 2006. It offers a secure, comfortable place to stay. There is a laundry next door and a secure mall a few blocks away. Check out the hotel's website. There's even an email address where I made my reservation and had questions answered by Moises (one of the guys who works there).
