I love Mamallena. Lots of attention to detail, fun crowd, good, clean rooms, friendly, english speaking staff. Wifi is reliable and quick. Their place in Cartagena, Columbia is a little nicer in my opinion, but thats complaining on a high level. All you need :)

The staff is very helpfull and friendly! And the trip they organised for us to San blas was amazing. But don't book the private rooms.. It felt like we were sleeping in a prison cell... Very nice hostel! Friendly staff and a very nice common area! Very easy to meet a lit of good people. Attractions are in walking distance. It's also very easy to reach Albrook by bus (Bus terminal & shopping mall).

This hostel is really in an awful neighbourhood and not close to the main tourist sights of Panama. Their dorm room has 12 beds and people are coming in and out at all hours.
