Attractions abound in Annapolis - the Bay, the boats, shopping, the State House, the architecture, the Naval Academy and St John's College and excellent food as well. A stay at the Royal Folly ties it all up in a beautiful bow. To come home every day to lovely rooms, great beds and linens and the good company of the charming... More

If you're looking for a Bed & Breakfast with beautiful rooms, outstanding Breakfast and great Inn Keepers......Royal Folly is for you. This is our 5th stay at this B&B and we'll be back for the 6th. The owners, Pat and Ed, were very warm and gracious and take a personal interest in their guests. They had great insights into good restaurants as well as things to see and do. Their Victorian home has been carefully and lovingly restored and was very inviting. The location is perfect; allowing us to explore Annapolis without ever having to use... More

We love this place! Comfortable and roomy, fantastic food. And the owners are super-nice people. The location is perfect for walking around town (Annapolis is lovely!) or going for a scenic run through the Naval Academy (bring your license - you need it to get in.) The Royal Folly is the perfect B&B! More

I stayed at the Royal Folly on a "girls weekend" with a group of friends from high school. There were about seven of us with different tastes and interests but each of us said it was the best trip we had ever taken. The people were great. The owners of the bed and breakfast, Pat and Ed, were the best!... More

First of all, if you're not familiar with Annapolis, make an effort to get familiar with it. It is a great small city with a ton to offer. There really is something for everyone. Staying at the Folly only makes the experience that much better. We stayed in Lord Dana's room, which might have the most comfortable bed I have... More

We stayed in the Queen's Chambers at the Royal Folly for an anniversary weekend in late March 2012. Annapolis is a beautiful city, but the Folly was by far the best part of our trip. The owners, Pat and Ed, were welcoming, friendly and fun. Their home was beautiful and immaculately clean. The home is full of old world charm... More

Just back from a fantastic, long weekend in Annapolis and a great stay at the Royal Folly. Pat and Ed couldn't have better hosts. They greeted us and gave us the grand tour upon arrival. After we were settled, they continued to impress us with their knowledge of the city and all it has to offer. Each place we visited... More

We selected The Royal Folly for a girls getaway weekend in March and are already making plans for a return trip. The inn is beautifully laid out, decorated, and everything is top quality. The rooms are spacious and charming and all have special touches. Pat and Ed are hospitable, helpful, and do all they can to make your stay memorable... More

I was at The Royal Folly with 6 of my girlfriends for a wonderful reunion. We had the time of our lives, we all travelled from different states and met at the Folly, with the help of the Inn owners Pat and Ed Mullen, we were directed all over the town and had all the insider tips on where to...
