The Martin House Inn is a terrific place to stay in Nantucket! The inn is so well kept, friendly and comfortable. It is very close to downtown and easily accessible from the ferry. What separates this Inn from others on the island is Skye (the innkeeper). She is the nicest and most hospitable person I have ever met. She is... More

This is a great inn, but what makes it standout is Skye, she is a wonderful innkeeper who goes above and beyond to make the stay superb More

This is a beautifully managed, friendly and immaculate inn. The buffet breakfasts, which include a variety of of freshly baked muffins, scones and coffee cake, plus fresh fruit salad, juice, bread and cereals and excellent coffee, are plentiful and satisfying. Our small single rooms on the third floor were comfortable and cozy, and the bathroom, which we shared with two... More

The room we stayed in was very nice, but what really makes the Martin House unique is Skye, an innkeeper who takes hospitality to a whole other level. The breakfast she put out was perfect. The advice she provided on things to do and restaurants was also helpful. All of this and she bakes delicious cookies every afternoon. This was... More

Such a nice B&B on Nantucket! The rooms were very clean and decorated so nicely, with so much character! The innkeeper, Skye was fantastic! She was so helpful and friendly! The breakfast and afternoon tea and cookies were fabulous! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this in to others! More

My cousin and I enjoyed two nights at the Martin house, room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We could smell the fresh scones being baked down stairs which drew us anxiously awake each morning. The inn was close to town but just far enough away from any hustle and bustle. Skye was a great host, and quick to recommend weekend... More

This Inn was absolutely adorable! The breakfast was a delicious way to start the day exploring Nantucket! And the tea/coffee and yummy cookies in the evening was also a great treat. The innkeeper, Skye, was amazing. She was so friendly, and informative. She even drove my friend and I to a restaurant she recommended, that was above and beyond service!!! More

The comfort here is more about the "feel" than any particular creature comfort. That said, the creature comforts are taken care of--the place is spotless, the breakfast is homemade right down to the granola and pastries. And yes, the coffee is the best on the island. I'd say our innkeeper, Skye, was the primary reason for the comfortable feel. She... More

The house is charming! Love my room tucked in the eves on the 3rd floor. Very clean, even with a shared bath. The best part is the manager, Skye. What a doll! Super yummy baked goods at breakfast. She is very friendly, helpful and attentive to guests' needs. I will not hesitate to book here every time I visit! More
