We have stayed at the Inn for the past 5 years. They have been fine for our needs. They are reasonably clean and have a nice continental breakfast with fruit. We have enjoyed the pool and beach at their sister hotel (B & B) The Summer house as part of the deal. With transportation to boot. However on the weak side... More

Guest, It is great to learn of your 5+ years of loyalty to the Pineapple Inn and I'm sorry to learn that your last experience did not meet your expectation. We do take pride in being an Inn that provides travelers with a charming Nantucket experience. We are the only group of Inns on the island that offers transportation and... More

Quaint little historic Inn located on a quiet street. Our room, #8, was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with quite a large bathroom, tub and a closet. Also had an air-conditioning unit, thankfully, as it was a record heatwave. Breakfast was delicious - fresh breads and muffins, granola with fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. - to eat... More

Thank you for the kind words. We do offer a guests with great proximity to town and spacious rooms for a Nantucket property. Unfortunately, we do not have a concierge on staff at the Pineapple Inn. The property is very small. However, you are welcome to use the services offered by the Summer House in Sconset. We will make sure... More

My husband and I along with 2 other couples stayed at the Pineapple Inn over the 2011 Columbus Day weekend. Since we spent most of our time out and about on the Island of Nantucket, the Inn was a great choice. We didn't mind that there was no roomservice, no Manager on site after a certain hour. The front door... More

Creepy, almost abandoned setting. We had a keyed lock but no dead-bolt on bedroom door so we never felt safe at night. Our room was on the first floor, almost directly opening to a secluded small courtyard area. Scary at night ! Very little sleeping done during our two night stay.We came home exhausted , not refreshed from our stay on beautiful... More

Hello, We are sorry to hear that you felt unsafe in your room at the Pineapple Inn. We often recommend that our guests call us in advance and share their room preferences before we book a room for this exact reason, since everyone's needs are different. Because we offer a wide variety of rooms and Inn types, we would be... More

You pay a lot to stay at a B&B in Nantucket, that's a given. But one would expect something for your money. At the Pineapple Inn, we shelled out too much money for a room we could barely pass each other in, let alone find anyplace to unpack and store our suitcases. In this, the smallest and least expensive room,... More

Guest, I am sorry to learn that we weren't able to meet your service expectations. The Pineapple Inn is a very tiny inn and provides guests with an experience differentiated from those of larger properties. It's reminiscent of having your own space for the weekend; a private guest experience without extensive staff attention. Some of our other Summer House properties... More

This Inn is not owner occupied as the others mention - meaning no innkeeper. There is no one to help you with your luggage. No Innkeeper to answer your questions, help you with directions, assist you with daily activities. The place feels like it is owned by a corporation rather than a homy feel. Clearly not worth the price of... More

During our stay encountered a significant security issue while staying in a first floor room. On Friday night we were awakened by someone coming into our room at 3am. We had made sure that we locked the door before we went to sleep and were very conscious of this because we were on the 1st floor near the entrance to... More

With cozy, well-decorated rooms, good service, a central but quiet location, and a delicious breakfast, the Pineapple is everything you could want in a bed and breakfast - plus there's one glorious extra: a secluded courtyard that's a mini-oasis, where you can eat, read, lounge, or just veg out. I'm a writer and when I'm sitting there working, I never... More

This was our 3rd trip to the lovely Nantucket where in the past we stayed at a hotel and a B & B. After much research we selected the Pineapple Inn.
