The hotel is definitely tired. My room had many things wrong, example the phone wasn't working and the shower head was broken and when I reported it they said they knew!!! The staff were not friendly or helpful in anyway. Despite this it is in a great position. This is all it has going for it.

A great hotel with very helpful staff, offering excellent service and a brilliant breakfast! Close enough to the ferry port and town centre - the beach is also very close. As its outside the old town you get much better value for money.

When booking, we upgraded to a "superior room" with a sea view. The large spacious room with a king size bed was well worth the small amount extra it cost. Stayed here because we were meeting our traveling group the next morning. It's quite a walk down into the old city, and not particularly attractive (nasty train tracks and trash). The air conditioning is barely noticeable. The restaurant is very pretty - sit outside and enjoy the night, when the temperature finally drops. Didn't see anything to do close by.... More

This hotel is a 1-minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk into the old city. The rooms are simple and clean. The hotel staff went above and beyond.
