If you are going to really experience Split, the Hotel Peristil is a perfect choice. The hotel is small (12 rooms) and has an attentive, friendly staff that is always willing to help you out, regardless of your needs. Situated right inside the gate to Diocletian's Palace, the hotel is next to the cathedral, which chimes passionately (sometimes, perhaps too...

Stayed here before and after Adriatic cruise. Location, ambience, service and restaurant first class. Very close to the port, markets and in Diocletian's Palace. Hotel restaurant good and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again - ask for the rooms at the front as they are bigger.
Stayed three days at Hotel Peristil - location is outstanding and the hotel very good. Staff and service first class. They seem genuinely grateful you are staying at their hotel - nothing is too much trouble - valet parking appreciated. With the central location within the Palace walls it can be a bit noisy outside early in the evening but...

It is a hotel with a long tradition. My family used to stay here since I was a kid (I am 66 now). I visited it few day ago after 25 years and I discovered, to my pleasure, that the hotel is even better than it used to be. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, room equipment could be...

Stayed 2 wonderful nights in a lovely room with one of the walls being a wall of dioletician's palace. Great service, great location, great food
I spent one night at Peristil, actually into one of the apartments they have around the Diocletian's Palace. We were tired, long drive, it was getting late and the reception guy came to pick us up at the main parking, taking us and the car in front of the hotel(practically inside the Palace). they offered to watch my car for...

We stayed at the Hotel Peristil on our last night in Croatia. We returned from the islands on an early morning ferry and went straight to the hotel to drop off our luggage before meeting our guide for a tour of the city. Surprisingly, the hotel staff had a room for us within just a few minutes. They proceeded to...

We did not stay in this hotel. However, we had breakfast there every morning we were in Split. For the fixed price you can order a lot of food. The quality of the food was excellent and there were many choices. The patio was a lovely setting inside the ancient Roman walls. A good value.
We stayed at the hotel as we were booked on a cruise leaving from Split. The hotel is within a very comfortable walking distance from the wharf, even with large bags. We were given a room on the top floor with views of the palace, which was very pleasant. Agree with other reviews that the rooms are small but well...
