Good base for sightseeing. Comfy rooms, excellent breakfast, very poor wifi connection in rooms (much better in business centre on 1st floor). Didn't use the pool - too busy sightseeing, but it looked fab.

A clean and western style hotel. Rooms are neat and clean. Pool side is beautiful with authentic wood carving. Location is nice. Good place to do sightseeing in Mandalay, but the hotel has no authentic Birmese atmosphere but DOES have wonderful shops for souvenirs.

Hotel in quiet location but next to Mandalay Hill. Nice grounds around the swimming pool. The elecricity in the room was extremely dodgy kept cutting out. Average hotel probably the worst property I stayed in the whole tour of Burma.

Location next to palace but off city center. Quiet with nice pool and good hillside view. Rooms are ok, cold in winter months. Place is flooded by incoming and outgoing groups, and if you are on a private tour, perhaps better to abstain. However staff in restaurant very friendly and do their best for individual travellers.
