We have stayed at this hotel several days. We preferred it as other hotels are too high priced in this town. We had room No. 7, which is the best room we have seen in this hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. A little disadvantage is the breafast, which easily could be improved by serving... More

We stayed here for two nights following six nights at the Ramayana, also in Luang Prabang. It seems to me that some of your reviewers have succumbed to the dreaded fits of hyperbole. Descriptions of cave like rooms so dark that people were bumping into things seem a little far-fetched. If this is the case, a trip to the opticians... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in November 2011. The hotel is in a good location, close to restaurants and a short walk to the night market. We stayed in room 2 on the ground floor. It was clean, small, dark and cave like. It was hard to read because the lights are not bright. Breakfast was basic but ok.... More

Really enjoyed our stay at the Chang inn. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms spotless & it is on the main street in luang prabang very close to everything.

Just a little bit dim on the corridor, overall services are good. And there is no television, so it makes me cutting of the whole world but experiences laos tradition instead. So many friendly and helpful staffs there.

Beautiful hotel, charming decoration, good towels, delicated soap & shampoo, quiet rooms, located in a nice neighborhood where the buddhism monks walk at the sunrise. Friendly and helpful staff. A very good price-quality relationship, highly recommended!!!

We stayed at the Chang Inn for three nights at the end of our 2 week Vietnam/Laos holiday. It is located at the quiet end of town (although compared to most of South East Asia all of Luang Prabang is quiet) on the main street. Everything is easily within walking distance in Luang Prabang but the Chang Inn is particularly... More

After reading the reviews on the site, I wasn't particularly surprised to find myself in a small dark cave of a room after arriving at the Inn late at night. It was so small that the door hit the bed when the staff attempted to take my bag in. But the bed was also extraordinarily large. It was also incredibly... More

Stayed here with a friend and we were crammed into a tiny dark room with overhead lights like flashlights in your eyes as you try to relax in your tiny bed. Communication is very difficult (hand gestures, frantic pointing, then visual demonstration just to get clean towels)with front desk staff, toilet makes disturbing loud gurgles, breakfast is disappointing. It's pretty... More

Excellent location and services. The Deluxe rooms are very small and very dark. Difficult or almost impossible to read at night. The staff are very nice and friendly. It would be nice if the hotel provided tv in each room as there was nothing to do in Luang Pranbang after 9.30 pm.
