Rustic architecture (only 6 rooms) in keeping with the town's UNESCO heritage status, with a fresh interior - small, but why stay indoors in Luang Prabang? My only minor gripe is that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Otherwise, charming place, with exceptionally nice and smiley staff.

Must say walking into our room was a delightful surprise. The decor was simple but tasteful, bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable with lovely white linen, the room was perfectly clean. Great, close to the river, close enough for brief walk to most restaraunts and occasional bar. Time home remains restricted by the unique Marxism practiced by the government, but the locals are friendly and enchanted by the hundreds of young monks that circulate the town, topping up the karma to the brim!!!!

.... about the noise at this place. The rooster out back is impossible to ignore and the walls/ceilings are the thinnest I've experienced in SE Asia so far - even a dedicated user of earplugs like me has struggled. Ultimately this undermines the good things, like the good-looking rooms, central location etc. A shame....
