We had a room that overlooked the street out front. There was a balcony out there too if you opened the door you could sit. But the noise, and dust, and traffic below made it not a very pleasant place to sit. The room was large and a good value for what we paid but if you have to keep... More

The room was nice, reasonable clean and spacious with balcony facing a busy noisy street, nice view overlooking the temple across the road. However there were a few things we were not so happy about. For example: We were kicked out after two days because the room was booked which we did not know. Further, we were given a menu... More

Good for the price we paid. Location is great, night market nearby and only 20 mins walk to riverside. The staff was very friendly, they helped us arranged a one day tour to Pak Ou cave and Kuang Si waterfall. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Unfortunately our triple-bed front facing room on the ground floor was just average, wall are... More

The most positive thing is that it's clean, there are no bedbugs, so it was a relief after our last 2 hotels in Laos. There's wifi but it's a bit slow (not bad for Lao average though). The price was good too, only 7 euros for a double room with en suite bathroom with fan. The owners are a young... More

At first glance the guesthouse seemed nice. It was the Lao New Year and I was greeted with a glass of beer from the staff. The room looked nice at first, it was big. But everything went downhill. There was no remote for the aircon, and they did not have one for me. They would switch the aircon on for... More

It was the second time I stayed at that guesthouse and even though a lot has changed to Luang Prabang over the past 4 years (where do all the cars and motocycles come from?), not a lot has changed there. The crew is still very young and soooo amazingly friendly - you just feel like you are staying with your... More

We arrived at the guesthouse (actually hoping to stay at one down the alley next door but they were full) and we were shown the rooms which were clean, tidy and very well presented. We originally planned to only stay the one night and find somewhere else but it was so nice and such good value for money that we... More

The location of the guest house itselft isn't that bad but I didn't like the staff's attitude. We were staying there for the time of Sonkran festival which means that many rooms in the town were occupied already. We decided to check on several guest houses if they have vacancy for the most busiest dates. When we came to Muonglao... More

The rooms very basic with a step-up bathroom. Beds uncomfortable with springs sticking out. Wooden floor board moves and disturbs anyone sleeping. Endless cricket and vehicle noises. Difficult to get peaceful sleep. Ants in bread served during breakfast. Guesthouse staff were okay. Got this guesthouse as part of 8 days 7 night package from their travel agency heritagexplorer Be WARY... More
