I've been there for 9 nights, to speak from the bottom up, starting with the parking, it is free and underground, which is very important in a hot country, but smell there is terrible. The reception also has the look and feel of a construction site, spots here and there, workers passing by, but after all it is undergoing a... More

Hotel is under heavy renovation from all ends. Service was great and the food was good. The buffet was about 150 SAR. The internet was on a daily coupon deal that you had to get from a person in the business center. Taxi cost from JED airport to hotel was about 80-100 SAR (exchange money at the airport). Red Sea... Stayed here as a Plat guest. Don't think they see many as they seemed puzzled what to do upon check-in. I was given an "upgraded" room on an SPG floor - don't think that means anything. It was nice. Usual Westin. The big issue was the hotel Internet was out for 12 hours overnight! Bad bad for a business hotel.... More

Big refurbishing works in progress (not mentioned on Starwood site: very bad) that enhance the status of poor maintenance of the building. But the worst was the room: moquette so badly spotted, battered furniture, glass panes very poorly kept. A very expensive (in relation to the quality) sadness and disappointment. Stay away at least for a couple of years, until... More

My second visit in 6 months and I quite enjoyed the 'lobby' on the 12th floor - attentive service from a friendly staff with great cafe options and view of the sea. My non-smoking room had a great view of the sea and the corniche but suffered from noise and crane movements from the construction next door - initially I... More

Spent couple of days of last January, on a business trip. The only reason I stayed here is overbooking in nearby Jeddah Sheraton Comparing its prices to location on the Sea Front, gives it a extra mark . Close to one of the newest malls in this part of Jeddah, Red Sea Mall . Rooms are OK yet Lobby is... More

the hotel is located across from the red sea. The front desk Ethiopian man and a local young man very helpful and polite..........welcoming. The brunch is so-so, the food service is bad. They pick and choose who to serve. The oj juice dispencer was not woking. They did not have back food for brunch. The drive way needs improvment. About 15... More

Having stayed there four nights during a business trip and concluding my visit with two further nights at the Hilton, just down the street, I wish I had stayed at the Hilton throughout. If you want 5-star service and accomodation and pay for it, the Westin is not your choice. More

I realized that I have been giving excellent reviews previously. I thought I was overly generous when I gave a 5* hotel in Milan a top review despite the fact that I found a strand of hair in the bathroom wall soon after I checked in. At the end of the day, I left the hotel feeling great, so a... More

I have previously enjoyed staying in Sheraton Hotels in different countries such as Egypt which were a far higher standard of customer service, facilities and food. On the morning after our arrival there was no water to shower until after midday, and we were not offered to move to another room where water was available. We were given room number... More
