Nice enough place overall. No shops, cafes nearby so you have to catch a taxi to go anywhere as its too hot to walk. No free wifi which we found a problem. Rooms spacious and clean.

I stayed at the Dhow Palace for business in April. On my arrival thankfully I was upgraded to a suite otherwise my stay would have been even more tragic! Most of the staff are rude and have no idea of customer service or manners! Bathrooms oozed mould strongly advise to stay away!

Very good hotel, courteous staff, several good restaurants for in hotel dining, clean rooms, good mix of TV programmes, good accessibility to major places of tourist interest.
