I stayed here 2 nights during the summer ramadam of 2011. Incredibly a youth hostel international doesn't serve breakfast during ramadam... even if visitors of this great international hub called Dubai are not muslims. it makes no sense. Staff also are not very friendly at all except one person. muslim laws should be applied to muslims and not to non-muslims.... More

this place is not good for families, but should be ok for young single /group of business men or travellers. room and bed is good and spacious but something odd. Toilets are clean. Service is not at all good. passport will be taken by staff who are enough rude even by YH standards. You would not find staff to get... More

Disclosures first: I stayed there only a few hours. Arrived late at night on Saturday and checked out for a 10 AM flight on Sunday. When I emailed them, they gave me the price only for a single room (hostel A, 200 AED). When I specifically asked for a room in a dorm they gave me hostel B, and I... More

The Hostel is definitif the cheapest Place to stay in Dubai. But the Service is not good at all. The Staff is unfriendly, and ask you for example: "Do you really want to stay another 2 Nights?" They dont exept Credit Card or have change. So at your arrivel, you have to go to the next Supermarket 10min (in Dubai... More

Dubai was my stopover and I needed cheap place to stay. The room is pretty old but it was clean. The service came every day to clean the shower and made our beds. Also the room is quite small (with 4 beds) I was there with another solo traveler but can't imagine the room to be full as there was... More

The features that redeem this accommodation are (1) It's great outdoor pool - what a bonus! and (2) Its price. At times when I've been short of cash, I've been grateful for this place. However, it has the worst service I've ever encountered - downright hostile. The guy behind the desk refused my polite request for a glass of water,... More

Actually I agree completely with the previous opinion of RinziRinzi, although I didnt care to much about the noise of the pray. It is an Islamic country and thats normal - I guess... Anyhow, I really dislike the hostel because the staff was so unfriendly except a few people. The girl selling sweets and the guy who cleaned the room... More

This hostel for a solo traveller, seems to be the real cheapest option: it's better to bring the international hostel to save approx €3.30 a night, which is not bad if you are staying few days. But the staff will not mention it, not even that there's a breakfast included in the price. Overall, they really don't care about their... More

Very friendly, made many longterm friends there, mostly among Arabic and Iranian people. The hostel includes a 3-star hotel. It is very clean and of a high standard. The swimming pool is very nice, but of course due to the heat and direct sunlight it can't be used except late at night. There are nice lounge and outside areas for... More
