Booked a room via telephone, 60bol per person per night in a double with private bathroom. Quite expensive but worth it. Rooms are clean and cozy. Hot water for shower took ages, so the plea to only take 5min showers is a hopless appeal. First night we arrived, there was a BBQ - massive food feast for 30bol per person... More

I have been traveling around South America and Asia for the previous year and Wasi Masi stands out as one of my favorites. Very beautiful biulding, unique rooms, comfortable beds, great location, free breakfast all for a great value. I loved their patio common area and free movies to watch. Their kitchen is a bit small but I looked past... More

I stayed at Wasi Masi for about a month. Overall, I had a really nice stay. The beds are very comfortable, the lockers are big enough to fit large backpacks, and there are power outlets for each bed. The kitchen is pretty small and there's often a wait to cook, but it still works. The tv room is nice. Internet... More

I checked out 8 different hostels before I checked in this one. It is a a quiet street only 3 blocks from the main square. Everything is clean and well kept. Dormitory has bunks for 10 people (quite a lot) but nice and equipped with lockers. There is a TV-room, a nice place to sit outside and a very very... More

We came here looking for somewhere to call home for a week or two after being on the road for 6 months....and we definitely found it here. I can't comment on the dorms or the standard rooms, and the communal kitchen is tiny. But we rented one of their apartments for an agreeable price and it was spacious and beautiful.... More

This is a GREAT hostel only two blocks off the main plaza, offering restaurant, pubs, cafes all with a really nice ´vibe´ Fortunatelu unlike other hostels on this website it does not attract the loud, drunken, jelly vodka shot slamming, 18-30 teenage crowd. A nice mix of German, Dutch, Swiss, Spanish and English travellers when I was there. A converted... More

I had a reservation for a 3 persons private room and when we arrived, the unfriendly woman told me that the price was 450blv instead of the 150 annonced on hostelworlds website. I know she was lying and she finally admitted it. After, she told me that the breakfast wasnt included in the price. I asked a guest who was... More

Wasi masi, where to start! Wasi masi was a mixed bag for us! First off we got there at 4am and had to knock the owner out of bed which took a while but we were under the impression it was 24h reception! That's minor to be fair! After sleeping on the couch in the community room for a good... More

I booked beds in a dorm online because it seemed like a good idea not to look for a hostel after a long bus ride. When we arrived, it took the staff a while to figure out why we are there :) But after the intitial obstacles, it was fairly fine. The room was nice (unlike the people who stayed... More
